Ventnor Day 2022

1 min read

Ventnor Day is promising to be bigger and better than ever.

This year’s free event will take place on Saturday, July 2, at Ventnor Park between noon-6pm.

Mayor of Ventnor, Cllr Stephen Cockett, said: “We are delighted to once again invite both Ventnorians and Islanders to our beautiful park to celebrate all that is good in our community. Last year’s Ventnor day was a huge highlight in our return to social events and we look forward to building upon that.

“Last year’s event had around 100 stalls and hours of live entertainment on two stages. This year will be even better. We’ll see you there!”

Ventnor Day is an opportunity to celebrate the strength of the town’s community spirit and our voluntary and community sector – with live music, performance, stalls, and food.

There are free stalls available for community and voluntary sector groups and spaces available for local business and for craft stalls for £10. A table and two chairs will be provided free of charge.

Any organisation who would like a stall at the event, should contact Tony McCarthy: tony@ventnortowncouncil.org.uk.
