Around 80 members of the Towrags Bike & Trike Club had a ride-out on Sunday, to deliver more than 100 Easter eggs to four Island special-needs homes.

Organiser, Pete Atkinson, said: “We all met up at Smallbrook Stadium and went to Luccombe, Sandown Airport, East Cowes, Ryde, and back to Smallbrook, where we enjoyed refreshments laid on.

“Along the way, we visited the four homes: Plene Dene in Luccombe, Beaulieu in Newport, Hazelwood Lodge in East Cowes, and New Lodge in Ryde.

“All the eggs were donated by our members and the residents were delighted when we turned up, so it made for a really enjoyable afternoon for everyone concerned.”

The Towrags have a regular monthly ride-out, when they can be seen on a variety of Island roads.
