IW Men 1st XI lost 3-0 away at Basingstoke, with the 2nd XI losing 2-1 away at Fareham VI, leaving the team disappointed after Thomas Young scored the opening goal for the Islanders.
IW Women’s 1st XI won 2-1 at home to Romsey, with skipper, Katy Ednay, and Evie Fairhurst, having stand-out performances. The Women’s 2nd XI match was awarded to Gosport Borough.
This weekend, IW Men’s 1st XI welcome Haslemere II, and the 2nd XI host Portsmouth. There is a trip to Hamble for the Women’s 1st XI. The 2nd XI welcome Chichester at noon.
