I’m Char, and I am founder of Duxmore Botanics, an award-winning body care and home fragrance brand. I am a farmer’s wife and a busy mum to three children.
Based on the chalk downland of the Isle of Wight, our farm is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with breathtaking views of both the sea and rolling hills.
I am an aromatherapist, cosmetic scientist and holistic massage therapist and I love combining all of these principles to create products that deliver great results. Each product is formulated with an aromatherapy influence – bringing blissful moments of calm in your every day.
Starting out in our farm kitchen back in 2019, with a simple bain marie, we now have a dedicated HQ on the farm – and the equipment has grown somewhat too! We pride ourselves on delivering a personal first-class service and high-quality products, using ethically and responsibly sourced ingredients. We work with trusted ingredient suppliers and work with fellow Island-based businesses too. We love to focus on the detail, from bespoke hampers to hand-written cards; we like to maintain a human touch in this fast-paced world.
Our home-fragrance collection is designed to deliver an aromatherapeutic, well-being boost, whenever you need it. Whether that is a scent to make you smile, a scent to comfort or one to help you feel grounded – sometimes we just need to take a breath and take a moment to breathe in a soothing scent. Through our candles, reed diffusers, room sprays or essential oil blends, each fragrance blend is carefully curated and hand-crafted in-house, using pure essential oils.
When it comes to our skincare, we believe in responsible beauty, not only when sourcing ingredients, but when marketing our range too. It’s about looking after and enjoying the skin we are in. We carefully select our ingredients for their unique benefits on the skin, helping to deliver visible results.
