A cheque for £1,800 has been presented to Mountbatten Hospice following the Isle of Wight Table Tennis Association’s annual charity tournament.
The money was raised at the 2026 tournament, held at the IW Table Tennis Centre in June, when 48 players took part, including a number who travelled from the mainland.
The event, now in its fifth year, also attracted supporters who came along to watch the action.
Olivia, from Mountbatten, said: “We are most grateful, once again, to the IW Table Tennis Association for their support of our work. This will greatly assist with our care of patients and their families here at the Hospice.”
Tim Giles, IWTTA vice chairman, said the Association was delighted with the success of the tournament and the response from players and spectators.
He added: “Our Association hopes to continue supporting the Hospice with this annual event.”
