Thousands of scooters will be on the Island over the bank holiday weekend to take part in the ‘world’s biggest scooter rally, with a packed programme of entertainment.
The IW International Scooter Rally, organised by VFM and the British Scooter Rallies Association, starts this Friday until Monday with the main base for the visitors at Sandown Airport where there will be bars, food stalls, camping and glamping areas as well as a trading village.
There will also be a packed programme of entertainment, including live bands, DJs, the popular Soul Room and the International Custom Show, where some of the most unique and stylish scooters from across the globe will be on display. The site opens from 12pm on Thursday to 12pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
Then, on Sunday afternoon, there be the return of the famous scooter rally ride-out starting from Ryde Ice Rink at 1pm and travelling to Sandown Airport.
