Students at Isle of Wight Studio School were infused with host of careers possibilities when over 20 Island businesses and organisations descended on the School for a speed meeting carousel activity.
The event was hosted by Education Business Partnership south, who work closely with schools to provide bespoke work related learning experiences that inspire young people to have positive career aspirations.
A wealth of various organisations attended the event, including NHS midwifes, paramedics, Cowes Chiropractor, Ascensos, IOW Tomatoes, BAE Systems, Vikoma, Royal Yacht Squadron, Ryde Yachts, Visit Isle of Wight, Vectis Radio, PC Consultants as well as the Chamber of Commerce.
Millie Meadows, 15, said; ‘it was a valuable morning as we met so many businesses that we didn’t even know existed. They gave us really good advice about the qualifications we need and interview techniques’.
