Southern Vectis bans vaping ads on school buses

Southern Vectis is banning adverts for vaping, a smoking alternative, from all of its school buses.

Southern Vectis operations manager, Simon Moye, said: “Although ads on Southern Vectis buses are controlled by an external company, and are aimed at those looking from the outside, rather than by passengers on board, we absolutely agree this particular advert is inappropriate for school buses.

“We have already taken steps to have it removed, and we are also putting plans in place to ensure ads of this nature do not appear on school buses in the future.”
