Ryde school represented at Buckingham Palace

The Head of English at Ryde School, Miss Stenning, was called on to represent the school at Buckingham Palace last week at the final of the Never Such Innocence project.

The four year project was set up to cover the Centenary of World War One, and aimed to engage young people across the world through poetry, art and song. Ryde School entered many poems and paintings for the project, and a painting by Poppy Methold reached the final two years ago.
