Robin Hill Country Park Scoops Multiple Awards

1 min read

Iconic Isle of Wight attraction Robin Hill Country Park picked up two prestigious national visitor attraction accolades on 26th November at the BALPPA Excellence Awards 2018.

Pitched against attractions across the UK, Robin Hill pipped the others to the post to scoop the ‘Innovation Silver’ award for the park’s electric woods events and the ‘Innovation Gold’ award for the new Jungle Heights tree-top attraction. BALPPA is the national trade association representing the UK’s top leisure attractions and their annual awards celebrate excellence within the industry.

Robin Hill Country Park Manager, James Crofts, said: “Jungle Heights is our brand-new tree-top family attraction and electric woods is a series of stunning evening light events that take place year-round in our ancient woodlands. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the national accolades from BALPPA and the wins are testament to the investment, hard work and creativity that the team has put into the park. We strive to offer unique, one-of-a-kind experiences and it’s brilliant that this has been recognised.”

electric woods returns to Robin Hill in the New Year with Spirit of the Orient (15th-23rd February), a dazzling festival of sound, colour, illuminations and oriental flavours celebrating Chinese New Year. In autumn 2019 the park will also host Festival of Light, a breath-taking event celebrating the ancient Hindu festival of Diwali.

Launched in July, Robin Hill’s new Jungle Heights tree-top attraction offers adventure play for children and families with net mazes, tunnels and trampolines at dizzying heights.
