A fallen tree has led to the closure of Park Road in Wootton.
Island Roads, on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council, has closed Park Road from its junction with Lushington Hill to its junction with Briddlesford Road.
Work is currently underway to remove the fallen tree and make the road safe.
The diversion will affect Lushington Hill, High Street, and Station Road, and reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the road is closed.
The closure is for a maximum of five days or until works are completed and the site made safe, whichever is sooner.
