Rabbit hutch alight in Ryde sees firefighter response
1 min readFire crews have been called to an alight rabbit hutch on Friday morning (November 9).

Two Ryde Fire Stations crews are at the scene in St John’s Hill, Ryde after receiving the call at around 10am.

A spokesman from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said the hutch was at the back of a residential home.
Fire crews have now left the scene after extinguishing the two by five metre fire which involved a rabbit hutch and refuse area.
No animals were harmed and the rabbits had been evacuated before firefighters arrived.
