A CCTV image has been released by police after two shoplifting incidents at the Tesco Express store in Sandown.
Officers say the same man is believed to have entered the shop twice in three days, taking bottles of wine and meat products on Monday, February 2 at 9.55am and again two days later on Wednesday at 8.45pm.
Following enquiries, police have now issued a CCTV image of a man who was seen in the area at the time and may have information that could help the investigation.
He is described as being between 30 and 40 years old, of large build, with dark hair, and wearing a black hooded top and black trousers. Police are urging anyone who recognises the man, or who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious, to contact them on 101, quoting 44260056260.
Officers are also appealing for anyone with CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell footage from the area around the relevant times to come forward, as it may assist the investigation.
