More than £350 was raised for Aspire, Ryde, following Monday’s Pier to Pier Walk, part of Shanklin Carnival Week.
Karen Eeles, of Aspire, said: “We had a great night considering the unpredictable weather – 65 people turned up and we sent some off early because of the weather.
“We had holiday makers, including two men down from Newcastle, who said how wonderful the walk was going from light to dark, walking along the revetment from Shanklin to Sandown and back to The Steamer.
“We thank the Steamer Inn for great hospitality and great BBQ.”
