Natwest Bank in Cowes could become flats and dining space

An application to renovate a former bank in Cowes has been submitted to Isle of Wight Council.

The former Natwest Bank in High Street could become three one bedroom flats and a restaurant if a planning application is approved.

The outline states: “Proposed change of use/extension and alterations of former bank to mixed use accommodation/retail and dining.”

Mr Tewksbury, the owner of Cowes bar That 60s Place, has submitted the application through Newport based Ben Vernon Designs Limited.

Comments can be made on this application through the council’s website or in writing up until September 14.
