A Yarmouth teenager has finished third in the Under-18 category at the Surfing England Championships held in Fistral, Cornwall.
Boe, 18, has previously been selected for the England Under-16 squad, and competed in the World Junior Championships in Brazil. She is sponsored by Wightlink, who said: “It’s an incredible achievement and a testament to her hard work, talent, and determination.
“She’s a fantastic ambassador for the Island’s sporting community and a brilliant role model for young surfers coming through.”
Boe is now away training and surfing in Cape Verde and then back on the Island for Christmas.
