Seemingly endless ferry problems continue as Wightlink yesterday announced the cancellation of eight scheduled sailings on its Yarmouth-Lymington route on Sunday (June 2), citing a lack of available staff.
The ferry operator said the absence of an essential crew member led to the cancellations, which are described as a “last resort.”
The affected sailings are the 14:00, 16:00, 18:00, and 20:00 departures from Lymington, as well as the 15:05, 17:05, 19:05, and 21:05 departures from Yarmouth. All customers affected have been rebooked on alternative sailings.
Wightlink has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
