Military Road strong winds smash van window

High winds have been plaguing the Island with one van driver even having his window smashed. 

East Cowes saw flooding as high winds and tide levels came in as promised by the Met Office.

HSS Hire & Traffic Management Isle of Wight took to Facebook to post a picture of the damage caused to one of their vehicles on the Military Road.

They wrote in their post: “‪The wind is very strong out on the Military Road, our driver just had the door ripped out of his hand and the window smashed as it hit the side of the van!‬”
