In the Hampshire Senior Cup, East Cowes Vics drew 3-3 with Cowes, with Cowes winning 4-3 on penalties. Two goals from Vics’ Josh Neale and 1 from Liam Newbold, and for Cowes, one from Charlie Marsek, a John McKie penalty and Jimmy Mumford volley entertained a 300+ crowd. Cowes keeper, Ed Hatt, pulled off saves to allow John McKie to slot home the match-winning spotkick, and secure a place in the third round.
In the Junior A Cup, High Park beat Ventnor Res 2-1, with Kieron Illman scoring for Ventnor.
Niton Res won 7-2 away at Vectis Res, with 2 goals apiece from Ryan McDowall, Tony Potts and Tom Brownrigg, and 1 from Oliver McLoughlin, with consolation goals from Louis Newsham and Darren Wood.
In the Junior B Cup, Ryde Saints Res lost 2-7 to West Wight A, with goals from Aidan Taylor, Jack Butler, Archie Goddard, Jordan Maloney (2), Taylor Simmonds and sub, Chris Bridges.
Ventnor A won 4-0 at home to Newchurch Res.
Hat-trick hero Dylan Andrews with Shay Dixon and Ethan Jones, scored for Sandown & Lake Res in their 5-4 home win against Osborne Coburg Res in Combination One. W&B Res won 5-3 at home to Bembridge Res, with goals from Sam Cant (2), Ash Gulliver, Harri Taylor, and Charlie Curliss.
