A man aged 29 suffered a fractured skull in Holyrood Street, near to Hong Kong Express, Newport.
The assault happened between 7.40pm and 8.15pm on Saturday (July 7).
Police are now searching for these two men in connection with the assault.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: “Do you recognise these men?
“They may have seen what happened when a 29-year-old man was assaulted on Holyrood Street, near to Hong Kong Express, in Newport on the Isle of Wight at some point between 7.40pm and 8.15pm on Saturday (July 7).
“The victim was treated for a fractured skull.”
