Medina Marching Band is holding a Spring Memorial Concert in memory of the band’s late chairman, Kevin Hayward.
Kevin took over running the band in 1996 when the bands’ founder, George Urry, died. In 1997 he was appointed as the band’s Chairman, a position he held for 26 years until he passed away in February 2023.
The band will be playing some of Kevin’s favourite tunes, along with other popular tunes and music from the big screen. They hope to see lots of people there to celebrate Kevin’s life and pay tribute to all he did for the band and what it achieved under his leadership.
The concert will be next Friday (March 22), starting at 7.30pm, at Christ the King College.
