Are you looking for something truly spectacular to kick off your weekend? Look no further than Jay Miller’s Circus – a display of talent, laughter and wholesome entertainment that’s guaranteed to delight the whole family!
From the moment you step inside the big top, you can feel the magic. The smell of popcorn fills the air and there is a buzz of anticipation.
The lights go down, the music starts, and you’re transported into a world of wonder. The first act, quick changing Duo Valkal, were outstanding with their high-energy dancing. Blink and you’d miss the transformation from Wild West outfits to beautiful ball-gowns.
This year’s show is packed with fresh talent, including Beau Wheeler, performing on home turf as she originally hails from the Island. Her graceful trapeze act, soaring high above the heads of the audience, gave way to master jugglers and more. Ring-mistress, Lia Foray, did a great job keeping everybody informed about what was going on – but she had her work cut out once everybody’s favourite clown, Peppi, arrived in the ring. His hilarious antics had the whole tent roaring with laughter – even those who got sprayed with water ‘accidentally’. There truly is something for everyone.
There’s plenty of glitz and glamour but there’s also an unmistakable warm, family-friendly atmosphere. It makes Jay Miller’s Circus an experience you’ll be talking about long after they’ve swept up the sawdust and caught the ferry to their next destination. But hurry – the circus is only in town until Sunday, so don’t miss your chance to experience the magic!
