Katrina Kelly and members of Line Dance IW, presented Mark Birch, operations manager of the Sandown & Shanklin Independent Lifeboat, with a cheque for £1,000 at the Broadway Centre recently.
The event included a raffle, and there was a fun ‘guess the baby’s name’ fund-raiser with baby Blossom Kelly, presenting Mark Birch and the crew a cheque for £130.
Sandown & Shanklin Independent Lifeboat have been awarded the King’s Award for Voluntary Service for their life-saving work for residents and visitors to the Bay.
