The Quay Arts annual Christmas Cracker Weekend returns next weekend (November 30 & December 1). Make sure you mark the date in your diary, and go along to Quay Arts for a festive-filled weekend, with more than 20 craft stalls of local artists/craft makers in the West & Clayden Gallery, selling their wonderful hand-made items, on both days between 10am to 4pm. Quay Arts will also be hosting a variety of fun events and activities over the weekend.
On the Saturday of the Christmas Cracker Weekend, Squashbox Theatre are at Quay Arts performing ‘The Christmassy Christmas Show of Christmassy Christmasness’. The perfect festive show for all the family to enjoy! Shows start at 11am and 2pm. Booking required.
There will be free family art drop-ins across the weekend, from 10am-12pm and 1-3pm. Go along and make Christmas Wreaths and collage mini owls to take home. Some drop-ins require pre-booking.
The popular ‘Little City’ returns to Quay Arts with a Christmas special on Sunday. Enjoy a fun session of imaginative unique role-play, for children 6 years and under. Booking is required.
Enjoy live music from ‘The Christmas Bells’ band in the café on both days 1-3pm, with some delicious Christmas specials on offer to tuck into.
