Coach Party, a local four-piece indie band, played to a sold out stadium show in Paris on Saturday (May 21).

Opening for Indochine, Coach Party, made up of Jess Eastwood, Steph Norris, Joe Perry and Guy Page, performed to over 97,000 people in the Stade de France.

A spokesman for the band said: “Playing a sold out Stade de France with one of the country’s most respected rock acts, Indochine, was something we’d been looking forward to for what feels like forever, and it was really worth the wait. It was the highest attendance at any event in that stadium ever, so it kind of feels like we’re part of history over there now! We’re so fortunate that Nicola (frontman of Indochine) asked us to support having been a fan of ours for a while. There was absolutely no hesitation, our end, accepting the offer. The crowd were amazing and really welcoming – a pretty ridiculous way to start building a French fanbase, but we’ll take it.”

The female-fronted band have released a number of catchy songs, the latest titled ‘Nothing Is Real’.
