Ice cream van put to an unusual use

There was a coffee morning with a difference on Princes Esplanade in Cowes last Friday.

Plaza Ices held the event from one of their ice cream vans to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Debbie Hall said: “WOW – just thank you! You all amazed us again with your support and generosity. It was humbling to meet so many of you on Princes Esplanade and to hear your stories.

“The good news is, with your help, we raised an incredible £368.20p for Macmillan.

“Special thanks to Lynne for her help and to the legend that is Paddy Mchugh for donating the most delicious cakes.
“We hope to see you all back at the ice cream van for a couple of more weeks until we wrap up for 2022.”
