Huge success for the fifth Spring Leaflet Exchange

The Isle of Wight Pearl hosted the fifth Leaflet Exchange and it was a huge success with 24 exhibitors attending the event on Friday 1 March.

The exhibitors included National Trust, Isle of Wight Zoo, Monkey Haven, Botanical Gardens, and Adventure Activities who showcased their Arrow Tag activity and treats from The Isle of Wight Pearl Café.

The event is for FREE for island attractions to promote their businesses to accommodation providers from across the island – Enabling them to be more informed about what their guests can do whilst on holiday. Discovering the Isle of Wight for heritage, wildlife and adventure.

The event welcomed 31 groups of accommodation providers on the day and a Grand Prize Draw with prizes donated by exhibitors. The lucky Winner was Hayley Clark from The Chestnuts B&B in Shanklin.

Sophie Adkins from the Farringford Estate said, ‘It is a great opportunity and everybody very willing to chat – thought there was real buzz and met some lovely people’.

Rossanne Burfoot from the Isle of Wight Pearl said ‘It never fails to surprise us what wonderful activities there are available on the island and every time we meet new attractions and accommodations who are looking for new ways to grow their businesses. It’s great to have the support of Visit Isle of Wight and other island business to enable us to provide an event that brings businesses across the island together at the same time and place.’

The next leaflet exchange will be held Friday 8 November 2019.
