HRH The Countess of Wessex to officially name Victoria of Wight

HRH The Countess of Wessex will be visiting the Isle of Wight on Thursday (September 20).

HRH will carry out a number of engagements, including a visit to 2017 Queen’s Award winner Aspire, Ryde, to see the work it does in the community.

She will also visit Liz Earle Beauty Ltd, before officially naming Wightlink’s new vessel, Victoria of Wight, at its Fishbourne terminal.

HM Lord-Lieutenant, Major General Martin White CB CBE JP, said: “I am delighted to welcome HRH back to the Island, both to name Wightlink’s Victoria of Wight and importantly to support vital aspects of our charitable and business sector.”
