High quality produce and products at the County Show

The Royal Isle of Wight County Show is a much-loved event, which attracts residents and visitors alike. Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14, this year’s show promises an array of attractions that celebrate the best of the Isle of Wight.

Established in 1833, the show has grown to become a key event in the Island’s calendar, offering a chance for people to come together and enjoy a weekend full of activities and experiences.

A main highlight of the show is local produce, including Wight Marque, awarded to only the finest Island food and drink. Visitors can meet the growers, makers, distillers and brewers behind these products, sample their tasty offerings, and learn more about the processes involved in bringing these high-quality items to market. It’s a fantastic opportunity to support local producers and discover new favourites.

Arts and crafts are another major draw. Local artists and crafters showcase their talents, and visitors can interact with them, gaining insights into how they developed their skills and turned their passions into professions or profitable part-time hobbies.

The “I Love Wight Makers’ Market” is a must-visit, with stalls offering a diverse range of homeware, jewellery, ceramics, skincare products, candles, and unique gifts. It’s an excellent place to find one-of-a-kind items, while supporting our local creative community.

Advance tickets are available now, with day tickets priced at just £12.50 for adults (£14.50 on the day) and weekend tickets at £17 for adults (£22 on the day). Children under 16 can enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult, making this a great family-friendly outing.
