Residents, staff, and families, at Vecta House care home, have celebrated a ‘Good’ rating in the latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.
General manager of the Newport home, Faye Parker, said: “We are absolutely delighted. This achievement is a direct result of the dedication, hard work, and compassion our staff demonstrate every single day.
“Being able to celebrate this milestone alongside our residents, their families, and prominent members of our local community made the occasion truly special.”
The celebrations began with a special morning reception, featuring IW High Sheriff, Nigel Hartley. The community-focused event brought together residents, staff, and local supporters, including Melanie Gartell, head teacher of Summerfield’s Primary School.
