Wightlink customers who use wheelchairs or mobility scooters, and those with prams or heavy luggage, are being advised against using the FastCat service until early March.
Due to “essential maintenance of the gangway”, at Wightlink’s terminal at Portsmouth Harbour, FastCat passengers will have to negotiate a steep slope and some steps when boarding and disembarking. The work is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, February 20 to Tuesday, March 5.
Customers with mobility issues are being advised to use the Fishbourne/Portsmouth car ferry, or travel with HoverTravel until the work is completed.
Wightlink tickets, including Multilink and Season ticket passes, will be accepted on all HoverTravel services including the Hover Bus.
