People living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), along with their families and carers, are invited to a free online information session, organised by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
The session takes place on November 17, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, offering practical advice on understanding and managing the long-term lung condition.
Led by clinical specialists, it will cover recognising the early signs of a flare-up, when and where to seek help, and ways to manage symptoms.
Dr Hannah Burke, consultant respiratory physician, said: “We know that living with COPD can affect many aspects of daily life. This free event will provide people with the opportunity to hear from clinical experts, learn more about managing their condition, and ask questions in a supportive environment.
“We would encourage anyone living with COPD, or caring for someone who does, to register and join us.”
Attendance is free, but advance registration is required through iw.observer/nhs-events.
