Floating Bridge suspended due to prow issue

The Floating Bridge has been suspended on Wednesday evening (October 24).

Isle of Wight Council say the vessel’s west prow cable has snapped.

The Jenny boat service will carry foot passengers until 7pm this evening.

A barge was operating by the side of the Floating Bridge earlier to assist it.
