By Isle of Wight ObserverA tractor has ignited and started a field fire.
Four pumps and a water carrier are attending a field fire in Niton Undercliff on Monday (August 6).
Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (IWFRS) have confirmed one crew from Newport, Shanklin, Ventnor and Freshwater were called out at 2.38pm.
A spokesman for IWFRS said the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
They added that the area affected is approximately 100m x 75m including the “well alight” tractor.
No one has been injured.
