Residents of Pan Estate have expressed their concern with regard to the new one-way system that has been imposed on Pan Lane.
Drivers have apparently been ignoring the No Entry signs to the road, when using the lane as a shortcut to Asda superstore, and doing so at ever increasing speed.
One Pan Estate resident described the present situation on Pan Lane as “an accident waiting to happen.” Another feared that drivers ignoring the No Entry sign might lead to a head-on collision, an eventuality that he could see “happening soon”.
