Over 30 people, including two councillors, gathered to make a stand and to recite their poems in honour of the East Cowes umbrella tree on Sunday, January 6.
The umbrella tree was dressed up in its Sunday best for the special event, and those present savoured the mulled wine and epiphany cake and were entertained by musician, Simon Shelley. The event was recorded for posterity by Angel Radio, who were also doing their utmost to help save the tree
