For the first time since 2021, Andy Fairweather Low & The Lowriders will be touring the UK, and he has a date in Shanklin.
Andy Fairweather Low shot to fame as lead singer in Amen Corner, singing massive hits like ‘Bend Me, Shape Me’, ‘Hello Suzy’ and ‘(If Paradise is) Half As Nice’ . A successful solo career followed with ‘Wide Eyed And Legless’ being the biggest international hit from his three solo albums.
Andy has played guitar with Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Band, Roger Waters, and hundreds more. He now tours the world together with his band, with Ian Jennings on bass and vocals, Paul Beavis on drums, Nick Pentelow on sax and clarinet, and Richard Milner on organ.
You can catch the show at Shanklin Theatre, on Thursday, from 7.30pm. Tickets are £32 and can be bought on-line via iw.observer/andy-and-the-lowriders.
