Do you fancy jumping out of an aeroplane?

Age UK Isle of Wight are looking for adventurous fund-raisers to take on the challenge of a sponsored tandem skydive from over 12,000ft.

The jump, setting out from Sandown Airport on Tuesday, August 9, will offer each jumper an unrivalled aerial view of the Isle of Wight. They will experience freefall adrenalin at speeds approaching 120 miles per hour, followed by a stunning canopy ride back down to earth.

Elisha Leachman, fund-raising manager, said: “This year we have teamed up with Wight Fire & Security to support brave jumpers who want to tick something off their bucket list whilst helping out a great local charity!

“Age UK Isle of Wight is an independent charity, 100 per cent of all fund-raising support we receive stays on the Island to support older people to live well independently.”

If you are an adrenalin junkie who is prepared to jump out of a perfectly good aeroplane, you can secure a seat with an £80 payment and a commitment to fund-raise a minimum sponsorship of £400 for Age UKIW. Each skydiver is provided with a fund-raising pack and is supported along the way to help reach their goal.
