A Ventnor couple have escaped from their property without serious injury after the collapse of a 6 x 6 metre brick wall.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service attended the address at Spring Court in the early hours of Sunday morning (December 2) and rescued the pair from the ground floor property.
Dramatic pictures and video show the extent of the damage leaving the couple to seek alternative accommodation whilst emergency repairs are carried out on their flat.

Retained fire fighters from Shanklin were called just before 7am on Sunday morning.
