Council considers changing lynbottom tip opening times

The Isle of Wight Council is considering plans to change the opening times of lynbottom tip for the second time in less than a year.
The dumps opening hours were originally cut from 7am – 8pm to 10am – 6pm causing a lot of complaints from residents who found it hard to dispose of their waste.
The Isle of Wight Council is now considering changing the opening hours to 8am to 4pm, two days a week.
It would remain open from 10am to 6pm on the other five days.
The Council said it was just a suggestion at this stage and no decision had been made.
