Island businesses will be gathering at Cowes Yacht Haven on Friday, October 18 for the annual Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Business Awards for Excellence.
The glittering, black tie event will be hosted by actor Colin Carmichael, one of the runners in the 118 118 adverts. He has also appeared in films including Hot Fuzz and St Trinians and on TV in a wide variety of roles including in Secret Diary of a Call Girl, The Bill and Eastenders. Colin grew up on the Island and went to school in Carisbrooke and Medina.
The night is a sell-out with around 400 people attending to see the prestigious awards presented in 20 categories. There will be a charity auction in support of WightAID.
