Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team and Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team was both tasked out on Saturday following reports of an abandoned surf board at Ryde beach.
Upon arrival the surfboard turned out to be something that looked like it came from a small vessel. The item was taken to the esplanade for disposal.
