Christina raises over £400 for Independent Lifeboat

The crew of Freshwater Independent Lifeboat were delighted to receive a donation of £270 from Christina Toms during a recent training session.

Christina raised the money by running the New Forest half marathon in just over 2 ½ hours, having previously raised £115 by raffling a pair of Wonderfest tickets.

The crew thanked her for her generosity and determination. Every penny raised for the independent lifeboats stays on the Island to keep rescuing lives at sea.
