A charity quiz night is being organised at Robin Hill Adventure Park to support two Isle of Wight endurance challenges.
The “Gurt” IW Charity Quiz will take place on Wednesday (March 4), from 6.30pm to 9pm, bringing the community together for an evening of fund-raising and entertainment.
The event will support Rachel Richards’ “53 at 53” challenge, which will see her complete two marathons one week apart in 2026, and Jayne Merritt’s planned 100km (62.1 mile)
IW ultra-distance event, both of which aim to raise funds and awareness while inspiring others to take on their own challenges.
Funds raised will go to IW Search & Rescue, helping the voluntary organisation continue its work assisting emergency services across the Island.
The evening will include a range of quiz rounds, with hot food and drinks available, along with a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of local humour. Teams are encouraged, although individuals can join a group on the night. Tickets cost £5 per person and can be booked on-line at iw.observer/the-gurt.
