The Nettlestone & Seaview Community Partnership has announced donations totalling £2,000 to support local and regional causes.
The group is giving £1,000 to Mountbatten Hospice and another £1,000 to the Daisy Ring Bus, which provides transport between Southampton and the hospital.
Both donations are the result of a series of successful community events held over the summer, including the May Street Fayre, Party on the Prom and the Summer Fete.
A spokesman for the partnership said they were delighted to be able to support such worthwhile causes, and thanked everyone who attended, volunteered and gave so generously.
