By Isle of Wight ObserverA car and motorcycle have become involved in a crash in Apse Heath.
The A3056, Newport Road, between Sandown and Newport has been affected by queueing traffic as police and ambulance crews deal with the incident.
The incident took place on Monday afternoon (October 1) at around 1.10pm.
The driver of the car and motorcycle rider are being transferred to St Mary’s Hospital.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: “We were called at 1.20pm to a two vehicle collision on Newport Road, Apse Heath involving a car and a motorcycle.
“Officers are currently on scene.”
