Bridge Road in Cowes closed as water main bursts

Bridge Road is closed due to a burst water main. 

Island Roads have closed the road to allow Southern Water to repair it at the junction with York Street and St Andrew Street.

From 2.15pm on Monday (August 20) a diversion is in place affecting Bridge Road; Medina Road, Mill Hill Road, Newport Road and Arctic Road.

The road will be closed for a maximum of five days or until early stage works are completed.
