The Brexit Party has announced their Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) for the Isle of Wight
Peter Wiltshire has been selected as the candidate for Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party.
Peter said “As a Sandown resident I’m delighted to be selected as the PPC for the Isle of Wight. I am not a career politician but I am very motivated to help this fantastic Island. As a business man with a long history of deal-making I intend to enhance the opportunity for the people and businesses here.
“I stood as a candidate in the EU elections when the Brexit Party were the clear winners across the country winning 31.6% of the vote. On the Island it was even higher with 46.6% of Island voters choosing the Brexit party, with less than 9% voting Conservative. I found an enormous amount of support on the Island during the campaign
“I am really looking forward to meeting as many Islanders as possible and I’m very much aware there could be a snap general election at any time.”
