Boxing Day Swim raises money for local charities

Following the successful Boxing Day Swim, Ventnor Carnival Association have made donations to three local good causes.

Ventnor Community Foodbank, Wroxall Foodbank and PATCH will all received £200 donations from the money collected on Boxing Day.

Teresa Preston, Chair of Ventnor Carnival Association said: “Thanks to all those in the community that have supported our events during the year and in particular the Boxing Day Swim. We always hope that we will have sufficient funds to support local good causes and are very pleased to be able to support these three organisations helping those in need our local community.”
