Freshwater Independent Lifeboat coxswain, Tony Moore, presented the Pete Middleton Memorial Award to crew trainee, JJ Power, at the station recently.
Tony said: “Pete was a much-loved crew member who passed away several years ago, and we present this award each year to one of the crew or trainees who brings a bit of ‘specialness’ to the team.
“JJ is currently a student and a trainee crew member and is a really good lad; he thoroughly deserves the award.”
